Mike Carpenter

Mr. Carpenter has been an alternative energy entrepreneur since 1988. Since 2002, he has developed a zero-capital outlay sales network for biomass-fueled power generation throughout the western USA. Mr. Carpenter is the Founding Partner of Joshua Wayne Companies, an asphalt shingle recycling concern with operations in California. Previously, Mr. Carpenter founded Western Recovery Corp., a firm that processed more than 2 million waste passenger tires as a replacement fuel source for more than 20,000 tons of coal, yielding reduced stack emissions and lower energy prices concurrently. He also founded A FUEL CO, a firm dedicated to the development of alternate fuels and technologies, including biomass applications, alternate energy resources, and technologies relating to tire- and refuse-derived fuels, and gasification. This work has included agreements with Japanese and Australian firms to market gasifiers in the USA.
Mr. Carpenter is also the founder of the eNRG Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of green technologies, emphasizing Internet communication, energy reduction, alternate fuel development, site-specific wastewater treatment, and landfill diversion. He is the founder of Community Environmental Outreach, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to validating new environmental technologies, and the National Co-op Resource Center, an endowed, corporate organization, dedicated to Co-op development. He earned a B.S. Degree from Willamette University, with majors in Science, Economics, and English.
